“Great all around - Atlas mountain valley trek” Reviewed October 16, 2014
My friend and I went with Rachid of Pathfinders Treks and it was an excellent experience. Rachid is one of the best trekking guides I've met. His English is phenomenal, and you couldn't ask for a friendlier or more knowledgeable guide.
Our trek was around the beautiful Imlil valley, which was had hiking days ranging from 5 to 8 hours. The accommodations in the villages were quite good, and the cook/muleteer we had, Mohammad, was also very friendly and made very good (and large) meals.
My friend and I had a situation come up unrelated to the trek, and both Rachid and Mohammad went out of their way to help us.
If you're here because you're interested in hiking with Pathfinders, take comfort in knowing that Pathfinders will offer you a well-paced trek full of local history, knowledge, and friendly conversation. I'd love to return to Morocco and ascend Toubkal with them!

“Imlil valley trek, Atlas Mountain Range” Reviewed October 19, 2014
Truly a wonderful trek, would not change a thing about it. Beautiful scenery and the people are unbelievably friendly. The views from the mountain passes will be hard to top. We were also lucky enough to have great weather. The valley and village trek was quite neat. Going up to the mountain passes and down through the local villages was a very cool mixture of setting. The accommodations were surprisingly nice too.I highly recommend hikes in this region.
Rachid was a fantastic guide. His knowledge of the area and language skills were fantastic. It was great to get honest perspective on the culture of the area, really added to experience. Muhammad (sorry if spelling is incorrect) was our muleteer and also prepared meals. He was also great. His level of hospitality was very unexpected by me and greatly appreciated. I have never eaten that well while trekking, the setup by these two was way more luxury than I am used to for hiking. And of course thanks to our mule, she carried everything like a champ and made our lives way easier.
If I am ever lucky enough to find myself in Morocco again, I intend to book a different trek with these guys.

“Trekking with Rachid in the Atlas Mountains” Reviewed September 30, 2014
Rachid is a personable and knowledgeable young man who was an excellent host in guiding me and my wife in the Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region of the Western High Atlas Mountains, specifically Toubkal National Park around small villages above the town of Imlil. I would highly recommend Rachid for any trip he would lead in the High Atlas Mountains. His English is nearly perfect and he is a great communicator. I hope to return to the High Atlas Mountains in the near future and when I do, there is no question that I will use Rachid to guide me and my group!

“Amazing trekking in High Atlas” Reviewed September 29, 2014
Trekking with Rachid is the best way to discover everything the Atlas Mountains have to offer. His enthusiasm and familiarity with the local environment made this trip one of the unforgetable moments of our Moroccan vacation. Rachid is reliable, experienced and easy-going guy with a constant smile on his face. On top, he has a lot of knowledge about the region's cultural and natural history, which he happily shared with us (and I had many questions). Trekking with Pathfinders was an amazing experience which I would recommend to anyone keen on exploring the off-beaten tracks as well as the mountains' biggest highlights.
